Will there be a new iPhone version at the end of the year when it will be released in Europe?

I think so. Apple often update their products in 6 month cycles. They need to bring an updated iPhone in Europe because competition in the market will be to great in December in Europe. Many other company will have their "iPhone" competitors out there before. Also there will be new radio communication technologies widespread in Europe as HSDPA which will bring much more online speed to the phones. If Apple is willing to fight the mobile phone war in Europe they have to bring more than in the US market. Perhaps Europe will also get greater flashram for more music and movies.
